Nací en Colombia en la ciudad de Armenia Quindío. Crecí en el seno de un matrimonio católico tradicional. Viajé a los EE. UU. En 1985, donde me hice ciudadana.
Me apasiona el estudio de la conducta humana, razón por la cual me he enfocando en el tema de la psicología, de la que saque una maestria; mis estudios de turismo me ayudaron a interactuar con diferentes nacionalidades y comprender la magia de diferentes culturas.
El lápiz y el papel han sido motivo de inspiración desde muy niña, el papel pergamino me atraía para escribir poemas, gran sueño que hoy hice realidad con mi nuevo libro de poesia Paisaje, inspirado en la bella perla de Colombia, Santa Marta.
Me impulsa a escribir Dios y la Naturaleza, sobre todo los paisajes, para escribir prefiero los días grises, frescos, lluviosos y los acompaño con una buena taza de café, con su aroma me remontan a mi epoca de infancia.
Mis hobbies: Viajar, culinaria-cocinar me divierte. Me gusta leer temas de Ciencias y Teología. Escribir es mi sueño cotidiano. Mi libro preferido es la Biblia, más allá del fanatismo encierra un mar de sabiduria.
Deporte: El baloncesto, la natación y el fútbol que me llevó a ser comentarista de tres Copas Mundiales en radio y a Mente futbolera en ESPN.

I was born in Colombia, SA. In the state of Quindío in the city of Armenia, I grew up in a traditional Catholic family. I traveled to the U.S.A in 1985, as a resident, I became a citizen 29 years ago.
My passion is the study of human behavior which is the reason I have been focusing and mastering the study of psychology; my tourism studies helped me to interact with different cultures and understand the magic of different cultures.
The pencil and paper have been a source of inspiration to write since I was a little girl. I was attracted by the parchment paper for writing poems. A great dream that today I made come true with my new poetry book Landscape, inspired by the beautiful pearl of Colombia, Santa Marta.
What inspires and motivates me to write is God and Nature. To write I prefer gray, cool, and rainy days accompanied with a good cup of coffee, with its aroma that brings me back to my childhood era. My hobbies: travel; culinary-cooking is fun. I enjoy reading theology and science topics. Writing is my passion and my dream every day.
My favorite book is the Bible because it contains a sea of wisdom.
Sports: I like all sports, (except those that cause physical harm such as boxing and wrestling), especially basketball, swimming, and soccer which paved my way to be an ESPN commentary and covered three World Cups on the radio.
